Andrew and Sons Air Duct Cleaning, LLCYou Speak With Andrew Directly
Andrew has spent more than 25 years cleaning air systems around Central Texas. The two boys in the photo are his sons. They are too young to work a job, but the company carries their name because he is building it for them.
We run out of Round Rock, a short drive from Leander, and Andrew is the one who shows up at your door. No franchise scripts, no invented problems, and no pressure to buy something your system does not need. If something is not right after we leave, you call and we come back.
The Leander ProblemA New Home Does Not Mean Clean Air Ducts
Leander has been one of the fastest-growing cities in the country for years, so most homes here are relatively new. That is exactly why we get called out so often.
“The house is brand new, so the ducts must be clean.”
It is a reasonable thought. The paint is fresh, the floors are spotless, and nobody has lived here long enough to make a mess.
The ductwork was open through the whole build.
Ducts get installed early and sit open while the drywall, sanding, flooring, and trim work happen around them. Builders almost never clean them out before handover, so all of it stays in the lines and blows into your house the first time the AC runs.
Straight From the VentsWhat Comes Out of a New Build
This is the short list of what we pull out of homes that are only a few years old. None of it is unusual for a house that went up quickly.
- Drywall dust and joint compound. The fine white powder that keeps coming back on your shelves.
- Sawdust and wood shavings from trim, cabinets, and flooring.
- Insulation fibers that drift into open trunk lines during install.
- Construction trash. Screws, drink lids, scraps of packaging, and the occasional glove.
- Caliche and limestone grit tracked in from lots that are still being graded next door.

Asked and AnsweredLeander Air Duct Questions
Our house is only two years old. Do we really need this?
Often yes, and newer homes are some of the dirtiest systems we open. The ducts sat open through drywall, sanding, and trim work, and builders rarely clean them before handing over the keys. If you are still dusting shelves that were clean yesterday, that is usually where it is coming from.
Will cleaning the ducts affect my builder or HVAC warranty?
Professional duct cleaning does not void a standard builder or HVAC warranty. We do not cut into or modify your system to clean it. If you are under warranty and want to be careful, tell us and we will document the work with photos so you have a record.
How soon after moving into a new build should we clean them?
Once the house has settled in, usually somewhere in the first year or two. If there is still active construction on your street, it is worth waiting until the lots around you are finished, otherwise the grading dust just works its way back in.
Do you come out as far as Crystal Falls or Travisso?
Yes. West Leander and the Hill Country edge are part of our normal service area, and there is no extra travel charge for it. The quote we give you is the price.
They are still building on my street. Should I wait?
If crews are actively grading lots next door, waiting is often the smarter money. We will tell you that on the phone rather than take the job twice. If the dust is already bad enough to bother someone with allergies, we can clean now and talk about filters to hold you over.
What does air duct cleaning cost in Leander?
It comes down to the size of your home and how many systems and vents it has, so no honest company can quote one flat number for everyone. What we will do is give you an upfront price before any work starts, with no surprises added at the end. Call (737) 314-5794 for a real number.
