Breathe Easier with High-Efficiency Duct Replacement

We do more than clean. When ductwork is damaged, leaking or contaminated past the point cleaning helps, we replace it with sealed, insulated duct built for real airflow and lower running costs.

Replacement makes the biggest difference in older Austin homes and anywhere the original ductwork was poorly insulated. Andrew handles every step, from the inspection through to the final airflow test.

Why Air Duct Replacement Matters

Austin humidity and temperature swings are hard on aging ducts. Moisture and thin insulation give you mold, mildew, air leaks and sometimes rodent damage, all of which end up in the air you breathe and on your energy bill.

Signs It Is Time to Replace Your Ducts

  • Visible mold growth inside the ducts
  • A musty or foul smell when the system runs
  • Rooms that never hold the same temperature as each other
  • Heavy dust and weak airflow at the vents
  • Duct lines that are brittle, torn or disconnected
  • Ductwork over 15 to 20 years old

If it is only dirty rather than failed, say so and we will quote you an air duct cleaning instead. Replacing ductwork that only needed cleaning is money you should not be spending.

Straight answer: we will show you the sections we think have failed and explain why, before anything comes out.

Air Duct Replacement in Austin: Common Questions

How do I know if my ducts need replacing rather than cleaning?

If the ducts are torn, crushed, disconnected, or the insulation has broken down, cleaning will not fix any of that. Original ductwork in older Austin homes is often past the point where cleaning helps. Andrew will show you the sections in question instead of just telling you about them.

How long does a duct replacement take?

Most single system homes take one to two days. Larger homes and two system houses take longer. We work in sections so you are not left without air conditioning overnight in the middle of a Texas summer.

Will new ductwork lower my energy bill?

Usually, and often by more than people expect. Leaking ducts in a hot attic dump cooled air where it does nothing for you. Sealing that up means the system runs less to reach the same temperature.

Do you replace everything or only the bad sections?

Whatever is honest for your house. If only a few runs have failed, that is all we replace. We do not push a full system replacement when a partial repair solves the problem.
